Pathfinders at MGHS--Modified Remote Learning

Pathfinders at MGHS is a modified remote learning program that students are selected to attend.  Students will be required to attend school on Mon-Thurs from the hours of 1 pm to 3 pm.  Students will be enrolled in our Schools PLP (online curriculum), which works in conjunction with our day school (Mt. Graham High School) curriculum.

Students need to attend all four days, Mon-Thurs--as this time would be credited towards their weekly requirements of 25 online/offline hours.  Also, students are required to complete a minimum of 50 online lessons in their assigned courses each week (from Monday to Friday).  All students will be enrolled in core classes: English, Maths, Science, and Social Studies, and elective courses can also be included in their enrollment--all courses assigned are determined by students' requirements to be considered "on track to graduate" with respect to Safford Unified Schools District graduation requirements.

Every student enrolled is assigned a MENTOR teacher who works with each student to design a graduation/transfer course plan (whatever is the student's goal).  This plan will guide students' progress and will help them to remain focused on their goal by giving them practical measures of daily and weekly progress.  Parents and/or guardians are encouraged to ask both teacher and student about this plan and help by encouraging their students to accomplish their set goals.
